PREPARING YOUR HOME FOR MARKETING
Investing a few hours
and dollars in your home NOW can pay you big dividends when you sell. Look at your home as
if you were a prospective buyer. Are things in good general repair?
The following is a check
list that may be helpful.
EXTERIOR:
paint - fresh and appealing
shrubs - trimmed and shaped
lawn - cut, fertilized and watered
gutters & downspouts - repaired
yard - picked up and uncluttered
flowers - planted in season
walks & driveways - clean
front door - sanded and repainted
INTERIOR:
entrance area - clean & well
lighted
walls and ceilings - painted & floors shining
high-wattage lights - in dark areas
windows - clean and able to be opened
rooms - furnished properly

Generally all repair work
must be attended to. However, a new roof, landscaping, additions or other major items
